Dov went shopping at Rami Levy Thursday night and as he approached the meat counter, the solitary Jewish worker behind the counter, who always waits on Dov looked at him and said, "Judge."
Dov was flustered. He stuttered, "How did you know my wife is in Judge?"
One of the Arab workers walked over and shook his head, "Chicken," he said. "He's trying to say "chicken" in Arabic, but he's saying it wrong. It's Juszh!"
I don't see a place for your email...so here goes. My hubby and I were on a bus in Jerusalem a couple weeks ago and your son chatted for us during the ride!! Nice son!! He told us he was soon to USA to go into business. He was helpful to us (americans) and we very much enjoyed talking to him!! Will be coming here to read so often as I can.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Elizabeth
Thanks for the nice words, Elizabeth. You must be speaking of Natan. All eight of my sons are nice, but he's the chatty one :-)
ReplyDeleteGlad he was of service.
I don't write much these days. I started the blog to widen my business prospects and then, lo and behold, I got a job. I'm still feeling my way around the job and my new duties. But I do want to get back to blogging. Nice to meet you, Elizabeth!
Yes, it was Natan!!
ReplyDeleteHope the job will go well too...sometimes hard when first learning a new one.
Blessings on you and your family!!
Elizabeth
